Hi, I’m Brooke! I was born and raised in Seattle and moved to Poulsbo with my husband in
1993. It took a while, but I began to love the big city less and less and love the rural, slower feel
of North Kitsap more and more. We live on a small bit of acreage with our 17 year old son, dogs,
cats, chickens, goats and turkeys. I’m hooked on farm life now.
I have a million interests, including trail running, hiking, solo camping, sculpting with clay,
spending time around animals, looking for critters in the woods, and getting involved with
community projects. My husband and I own Poulsbo Running- (a store for all things active
people need) and we host our own trail running race series in Port Gamble. I served as vice
president of the North Kitsap Trails Association when we helped with the effort to preserve the
Port Gamble Heritage Forest-I consider it my home away from home. My favorite volunteer job
of all time was teaching art to my son and his classmates at Poulsbo Elementary.
When I’m not busy with all of that, I work as a birth and postpartum doula. Assisting families
through the transition of pregnancy and birth is something I’m very passionate about. I’ve been
in real estate since 2018 and love connecting families with homes.
